Once your child has taken part in our sponsored bike ride this week their sponsor form or a note will be sent home to let you know.  Please send back the sponsor form with your child’s sponsor money as soon as you can.  If you prefer you could pay your child’s sponsor money straight into our pre-school bank account (details below) and return your child’s sponsor form with a note on it telling us how much you have paid in and on what date.  Thank you to everyone that has already returned their sponsor money – we will announce our grand total once all sponsor money is collected.

During warmer weather please remember to put ice packs in your child’s lunch box.  Just like primary schools, we have no facility to keep lunch boxes chilled.

Your nominated person for collection – when dropping off your child we will ask you who is going to be collecting at the end of your child’s session.  If your plans change and someone different is going to collect, please call the office to advise us before the end of the session.  We need to be made aware even if the person collecting is a parent, a grandparent or someone already known to us.  Thank you for your co-operation with this.

If you are booking a term time holiday, please fill in a Holiday Form and hand in at the office.  Blank forms are available ion the parent notice board in our main reception area.

As you are all aware we are holding our Summer Fayre on Saturday 10^th July 2021.  One of the main fund raisers at this fun event is our Chinese Auction but we need you help to make it as successful as possible. Are you able to donate a prize for our auction? Maybe you know a local business that would be happy to, or you have a family member or a close friend that would be able to donate a price?

We would be delighted to receive donations for vouchers for services like haircuts, an MOT from a local garage, DIY jobs from builders, a manicure or pedicure from a salon.  The list is endless and really can be anything that we can add to our catalogue of prizes.

Please let us know by 7^th May if you are able to help so that we can add your prize donation into our catalogue.  Many thanks.

This week’s recipe is for

Gluten free / dairy free

BANANA NUTMEG COOKIES

Ingredients: –                 3 ripe bananas

½ cup sugar

3 eggs

1 tbsp vanilla essence

3 cups gluten free self-raising flour

2 cups dairy free butter

2 tsp nutmeg

1 tsp xanthan gum

3 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

2 tbsp honey

Mash the bananas in a bowl using a fork. Mix the butter and sugar together in another big bowl. Add the mashed bananas, flour, sugar, eggs, vanilla essence, butter, nutmeg, xanthan gum, baking powder, salt and honey to the big bowl and mix well.

Spoon the mixture out roughly 2 inches apart onto a baking tray lined with grease proof paper. Bake for 10-15 minutes at 190^oc.
